You can register online by choosing “Schedules and prices” and from there a suitable city and the training you want to complete. You will be asked to enter your personal information when you click NEXT on the suitable training. You can register only if you make an online payment. You can register in classrooms all over Estonia.

Yes, it is possible by choosing “First instalment” when registering to the training. If you have paid the first instalment during registration, you can pay the rest of the sum according to how often you take driving lessons. Before booking a drive, you have to make sure that there are enough funds in the “wallet”.

OÜ Autosõit has its own e-learning environment eAutokool, developed in cooperation with Tallinn University and used by nearly 25,000 students every year.

Yes. Other driving schools can also purchase access to eAutokool for their students.

Fortunately, the training vehicles are rarely in accidents that they caused, because there are two drivers that “drive” the car. When damage does happen in a traffic accident, the motor vehicle insurance will compensate the damages to the injured party; if the training vehicle was damaged, then casco insurance will take care of it.

The price of the category B initial training depends on the chosen package and the number of driving lessons. You can find the exact prices and current packages here.

You can start the category B initial training from the age of 15.5. From 16 to 18 you can get a limited right to drive, and from the age of 18 you can get a provisional driving licence. You can take the driving exam up to 3 months before reaching the required age.

The duration depends on your schedule, but usually 3–6 months. The training consists of theory lessons, driving lessons and exams. With a faster pace it is possible to finish sooner.

Yes. The category B initial training can be completed with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The schedule depends on the group and the instructor.

Yes. The category B initial training is also meant for people with no previous driving experience. The training starts with theory and moves step by step towards driving lessons.

The theory course can be completed partly or fully online, but the driving lessons always take place in real traffic together with an instructor.

The choice of instructor depends on availability, but we take the student's preferences into account whenever possible (for example a calmer pace or a specific language).

The content of the training is the same all over Estonia, but in Tallinn the driving lessons take place in denser traffic and more complex locations, which gives more practical experience in city traffic.

Yes. The driving school guides the student through registering for both the theory and the driving exam and explains the whole process step by step.

If you do not pass the exam on the first try, you can retake it. If needed, the driving school recommends extra lessons or revision.

The curriculum requires at least 2 driving lessons on the learning field. In the case when the primary skills are not acquired during this time, it is possible to continue driving on the training field as long as it is necessary.

By completing the training and the exam with a vehicle that has automatic transmission (officially a vehicle without a clutch pedal), your licence will have a corresponding note and you cannot drive a vehicle that has manual transmission.

The first lessons will take place in our training fields; you can start city driving at a suitable place by arranging it with your instructor. The places where lessons usually start in Tallinn are Kadriorg, Mustamäe, Järve and Kristiine. In other cities we generally start the lessons near the school.

The only difference from a regular training is that the theory course will be completed online at a time that is suitable for the student. For more information, read about e-courses on our website e-driving school.

You can take the theory exam after fully completing the curriculum. The exam times are a bit different in different classrooms. You can find the exact times on the “Contact” page by choosing a respective city. You can also make a call to a classroom of a respective city and ask for more information.

Yes. After receiving the provisional driving licence you must complete the final stage training before exchanging it for a full driving licence.

The final stage training is a mandatory training after receiving the provisional driving licence, needed to exchange the provisional licence for a full driving licence.

Yes. Part of the theory can be completed online at a time that suits you.

All holders of a provisional driving licence must complete the final stage training before exchanging it for a full driving licence.

The final stage training usually takes 1–2 days, depending on the chosen package and schedule. The express course takes only half a day.

Yes. The final stage training can usually be completed in 1 day, and the express course takes only half a day.

The multi-day course suits you if time is not critical and you can attend on several days, because the different parts of the training are on different days. The 1-day course suits you if you do not want to spend several days, because all parts can be completed in one day. The express course suits you if you value comfort and time, because you can complete all parts in a row in half a day.

Yes. You can register for the final stage training even if you completed the category B initial training at another driving school.

No. There is no exam at the final stage training. After completing the training you will receive a certificate so you can exchange your driving licence.

Bring an identity document and your provisional driving licence. Also make sure that you have a valid health certificate in the national databases.

Yes. The content and requirements of the training are the same; the only difference is the schedule and the location.

Yes, it is possible to complete the final stage training with a vehicle that has automatic transmission, and when changing your driving licence later in the Transport Administration, the licence will be given no notes and you will retain the right to drive a vehicle with manual transmission.

The training remains mainly the same: you have to complete two lessons independently online before taking the slippery drive, and one lesson in a classroom.

The training consists of three parts: theory course, slippery drive and ECO-driving training. For more information, visit our category B final stage training page.

Since 1 August 2011, the students can complete the training with their personal car by notifying us of their wish before the training begins. The requirement for completing the ECO-driving course with a personal vehicle is that the vehicle has an average fuel consumption meter which can be reset. In winter, the slippery track training can be completed with a personal vehicle only if it has studless winter tyres. If the trainee participates in training with their own vehicle, they are responsible for any harmful consequences that arise from the actions or inaction of the trainee in connection with participating in training. The trainee confirms that they have the right to use the vehicle, and the vehicle has a valid technical inspection and insurance.
The trainee can also drive their own vehicle during training if the vehicle has been adapted according to the trainee’s health situation.

If the certificate is lost, we can issue a copy according to the current price list. The driving school certificate is necessary to finalise the final stage training.

Tallinn slippery track is in Männiku, Tartu slippery track is in Raadi on an old airfield, and in Aseri.

No, because the motorcycle has to meet the requirements of a training vehicle, and has to have passed a roadworthiness test.

Yes. Completing a slippery driving course is very useful for every driver.

You could do it every year, and it is wise to do it in autumn before the slippery season begins.
